Rights Recognized to the Interested Party

- cancellation;
- limitation of their processing.
He/she will also have:
- the right to oppose their processing if he/she believes that his/her fundamental rights and freedoms have been violated;
- the right to revoke consent at any time in relation to the purposes for which this is necessary;
- the right to data portability, i.e. the right to receive in a structured format, commonly used and readable by an automatic device, the personal data relating to him/her.
- the right not to be subjected to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects that concern him/her or that significantly affects his/her person in a similar way.
Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Supervisory Authority
Each Member State shall provide that one or more independent public authorities are responsible for monitoring the application of this regulation in order to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons with regard to processing and to facilitate the free circulation of personal data within the Union (the "supervisory authority") art. 51 of the Regulation.
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, the interested party who believes that the processing concerning him/her violates this regulation has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State in which he/she habitually resides, works or the place where the alleged violation occurred (art. 77 of the Regulation).
