Annual production: only 1000 bottles
The traduction of this name means “cold wind from East”, that’s a typical characteristic of our Region. The tradition of this wine is ancient because ELIO and his brother Romano started producing it. This wine is particular because it’s a special selection of plants based on mass selection from old vines of Cabernet sauvignon and Cabernet franc. The oldest plants are named “OLD LADIES” and they are around 70-80 years old.
CHARACTERISTICS:
The color is ruby red with intense purple reflections. The nose has strong flavours of small red fruits and pomegranate and also some spicy aromas. The palate is soft, with a good structure and a long and rich last.
FOOD PAIRING:
On the table is very adaptable, it’s very good like meditation wine, excellent with savory first courses, red meats grilled or roasted and matured cheeses.
