Merlot is the red wine’s prince. Our Merlot is a fresh version, aged only in steel vats, and he reflects the structure and the character of our terroir.
It’s obtained from the best ripe grapes in the different parts of our vineyard and it undergoes to a 10 days maceration on the skins for a good extraction of tannins. Then it’s aged in steel vats for maturation maintaining the freshness.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Color is deep ruby red. The nose is very rich with flavours of ripen fruits, small red fruits and violet. The palate is very elegant with a perfect balancing of acidity and tannins.
FOOD PAIRING:
Very good in starters with different cold meats (like prosciutto crudo, speck), but also with savory pastas, grilled meats and matured cheese.
