This wine was born about 40 years ago by an idea of Franco, like an alternative wine for the region. Since 1988 it’s always present in our wine list and it’s one of our distinctive brands.
It’s obtained from Merlot grapes that undergoes to a white wine vinification process, so the skin contact on the juice is very short. Merlot grapes has a soft taste and gives to this wine an elegant style. It seems a white wine and it’s perfect to drink fresh especially during summer.
CHARACTERISTICS:
The color is very interesting, it’s a soft pink with coral nuances. The nose is fresh, with flower and fruity flavours, and some vanilla. The palate has a very soft sweet aroma that’s well balanced with the acidity and long lasting.
FOOD PAIRING:
It’s perfect like an aperitif. On the table is very good in different vegetable plates, risotto and egg dishes. It goes well also with a lot of dessert plates.
